IPL Comitte Recently Announced New Retention Rules For IPL 2025-27, There Is Lot Of New Rules Came But Impact Player Rule Will Continue In IPL 2025.

RETENTION POLICY FOR IPL 2025:-
Maximum Retention - 5
RTM - 1
Total Purse - 120 Crore
Purse for Retention - 75 Crore
*THERE IS NO LIMIT TO RETAIN INDIAN or OVERSEAS AMONG RETENTION.
*RTM DEPENDS ON NO.OF RETENTIONS IF ANY TEAM RATAIN 4 PLAYERS THEN THEY CAN USE 2 RTM
*IPL TEAMS NEED TO RETAIN AT LEAST 1 UNCAPPED PLAYER IN THE 6 RETENTIONS FOR IPL 2025.

PURSE FOR RETENTION:-
1st Retention - 18 Cr
2nd Retention - 14 Cr
3rd Retention - 11 Cr
4th Retention - 18 Cr
5th Retention - 14 Cr

2 SEASONS BAN Rule:- Any player who registers in the player auction and after getting picked at the auction, makes himself unavailable before the start of the season, will get banned from participating in the tournament and player auction for 2 Seasons.
